* Please note that the International Baccalaureate Diploma has special requirements.

As of September, 2007, graduation requirements will be adjusted. Seminar will be replaced with Guidance classes at each grade level, and Senior Project will occur in Grade 12, combining Junior and Senior seminar.

  Senior Project

Each student who is not an IB full Diploma candidate must create and present a research based project that is begun in Grade 11. The project, required for graduation, should be of the student's choosing and the topic must be approved by the Senior Project Coordinator. The student selects a mentor to supervise their work and is assisted with the process through Junior and Senior Seminars. Senior projects are normally presented in the fall of the Senior year to an audience chosen by the student. Past Senior Projects have included major art work, fashion design, experiments in biology and technology, research in the student's cultural past, musical compositions and a wide variety of other choices. Each student is encouraged to pursue an area that is of serious interest. As of September 2007, the project will begin in Grade 12, with the presentation to occur in the second semester of Grade 12.
