AISC has a long tradition of service to others as a part of each student's experience at the school. The Service Learning program has been in place for several years. In addition to being an integral part of each student's educational experience, time for Service Learning has been scheduled into the school year. The service activities are student- centered and planning, action, reflection, and demonstration are part of the learning cycle. It is our expectation that service experiences contribute to character growth in our students and we have made service learning an important section of our Growth in Character objective for the AISC strategic plan. Participation in a variety of projects is required throughout the school year. It is through these service activities that all staff, students, and parents work together to benefit from what we hope will be life-long experiences.

This year, we planted several hundred trees, cared for over 1000 trees we planted in other years, cleaned several beaches in Limassol, and will undertake several animal welfare projects. We hold several charitable fundraising events throughout the year for local and international beneficiaries.
