All School Halloween Dress up Day. Guidelines below

We’d like to kick off the Halloween festivities with a dress-up event at school on Monday, October 31. Students in Kindergarten through grade 12 may come to school in costume on that day.

Some things to keep in mind…

• No toy weapons of any sort will be allowed in school.
• Costumes must be tasteful, appropriate and in line with the spirit of the AISC Uniform Policy — the costume needs to cover as much skin as their uniform does…no bare shoulders and skirts can’t be too short.
• Please note that full face masks may need to be removed if they are distracting to the learning environment or if they pose a safety issue. Students will need to comply with teacher requests.
• As we are a K-12 school, it will be important to use good judgement about gory or scary costumes and masks. We don’t want to scare our youngest ghosts and goblins.
