AISC Director, John Jalsevac:

I am pleased to welcome you to the American International School in Cyprus (AISC), located in the heart of the Cypriot capital, Nicosia. It is an honor for me to serve as the School Director. For the past 20 years I have worked as the Director of international schools in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Cairo. Prior to that, I served as Principal at 3 different schools in Toronto, Canada. OUR PROGRAMS

Childhood KG3-KG5

Image

KG3, KG4, and KG5 programs focus on each child’s social and emotional growth. Building a positive self-image is essential for all children. We believe in fostering confidence in their ideas, abilities, and sense of self. The AISC Early Childhood Center is a welcoming space where students explore, discover, and develop self-worth.

Elementary Grades 1-5

Our elementary students come from around the world, bringing diverse perspectives and traditions to AISC, celebrated with curiosity and respect. We aim to nurture students’ natural curiosity and foster a lifelong love of learning, building strong habits of mind. Our caring teachers set personalized goals to help every student thrive.

Middle School Grades 6-8

The middle school years are an exciting time as students transition from childhood to adolescence.

They experience big cognitive changes, shifting from concrete to abstract thinking. Their world expands as they seek independence, build deeper friendships, and navigate the physical changes of growing up.

High School Grades 9-12

AISC HL students bring diverse cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives. As young adults, they explore their identities and their place in the world. They ask big questions, embrace academic challenges, and strive for success in the IB program and beyond. We offer the most immersive IB experience in Cyprus.
